FPI Round Table 1 - Drug Policy Reform
February 11, 2018 - 11:15am to 1:00pm

What would our faith have to say to us about a new drug policy? Indeed. What would our faith have to say about the old drug policy, with its inherent racism, mass incarceration, and mandatory minimum sentences? The Rev. Al Sharp, Executive Director of Clergy for a New Drug Policy, will tell us of his experiences organizing clergy and creating new programs around the country that offer the promise of compassion and healing. Come find out about the fight for medical marijuana, especially in the context of current federal attempts to prosecute these efforts. There will be an opportunity for advocacy.
