For the children and youth of St. Pauls, opportunities abound to practice our faith. Our curriculum helps our children learn the stories of scripture and create worship experiences. We emphasize singing and playing together, asking questions, and serving others. All are welcome.

Nursery
Our nursery is staffed by child care professionals, many of whom have been with St. Pauls for years. These friendly folks will welcome your infants and toddlers with great joy. Our nurseries are full of bright windows, fun toys, and everything your little ones need to feel at home. Parents are encouraged to drop their children off before worship. The nurseries are next to our Social Hall, on the lower level directly below the Sanctuary. Parents will receive a phonecall during worship if their infant or toddler is upset and needs mom or dad.

Sunday School, Sunday mornings
During the schoolyear (see the youth calendar for dates), children begin in worship at 10:00 a.m., sitting with their parents. After the day’s scripture reading, all kids in kindergarten through 6th grade meet their teachers at the sanctuary exit, and proceed to their classrooms. Parents are welcome to accompany them before returning to worship. After the worship service, parents pick their kids up from the Sunday School classrooms. Classes include Kindergarten, 1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade.

Confirmation Class (7th & 8th Grades)
St. Pauls offers a two-year Confirmation Program. Classes meet regularly throughout the year at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. A student entering this program is not signing on to be confirmed, but rather is entering a process to help her or him decide if they would like to be confirmed.

At the end of the process, our young people select a Bible verse that’s particularly meaningful to them. Watch here as our previous confirmands share what their verses mean to them.

High School
9th through 12th-graders attend worship with their families and meet as a group bi-weekly after worship.

YOUTH SERVICE TRIPS

Seeking to serve near and far

Every year, St. Pauls sponsors youth service trips. Our teens have traveled to Appalachia and the border of the US and Mexico to participate in variety of service projects, building and repairing homes and other facilities.
